What kind of creature is this?!
While my husband was doing what he does best, taking photos of our newest local waterfall find, I was doing what I love, photographing flowers and insects.
THINGS AREN’T ALWAYS WHAT THEY APPEAR TO BE
Upon looking at this, I was reminded of something I had heard the Lord tell me about 12 years ago, “things aren’t as they seem”. I was quite baffled by that statement at the time because I wasn’t sure why I was given that message; and, I must admit, since then, I have found that I am more aware of my perception of what I see and hear. That leads me to remember Jesus’ words in Matthew 24:24 – “For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect”. (NIV) So you see, with today’s technology, it can and probably will be quite easy for the evil one to deceive us if we are not fully alert. All the more reason to remain aware.
Below, you will find the original shot that the above photo was created from. The final form was actually an accident. I was playing around with a new editing app and clicked on an option to see what it’s function was and voila, I had a creature of unknown origin. I didn’t set any parameters for the manipulation either, the app took it upon itself to make those adjustments as well.
